Q: Do I qualify for Idadiv Membership?
A: Individuals are eligible to become a member of Idadiv by meeting one of the following criteria:

  • Live, work, worship, or attend school in either Ada or Canyon County
  • Family members of an existing member, regardless of residence status

Q: How do I join Idadiv?
A: Membership is established through our Regular Share Savings Account, which provides each member a share in ownership of Idadiv. The Regular Share Savings Account requires a minimum opening deposit of $50.00 and a one time membership fee of $5.00. As long as you keep $50 on deposit at all times in the share savings account, you will maintain your lifetime membership in Idadiv Credit Union, which entitles you take advantage of all of our products and services. To establish your Regular Share Savings Account, please complete and sign our membership application and return it to one of our convenient branch locations.

Q: Are my family members eligible to join the credit union?
A: If you are a current credit union member in good standing, then all of your immediate family members are eligible to join the credit union.

Q: Do I have to close my credit union account if I change jobs or move?
A: No. Whether you change employers or your home address, once you are a member, you are always a member.

Q: What do I need to bring with me to open my Idadiv Account?
A: You will need to bring a current, valid ID with you. It must be government issued and not expired. If you are adding a joint signer to your account, they will also need to have a valid ID and be present to sign the signature card. If you would like to set up a direct deposit and your employer has a specific form, bring that with you to speed up the process as well.
